GracePoint Church has a long history of worship and service to the community. Shortly after the city of Coppell was founded in 1890, this church was founded in 1896 with 19 charter members as Coppell Baptist Church. The first building was erected and dedicated in 1901. The church remained in this first building until 1948, when a new building was erected in then downtown Coppell, at the intersection of what is now Bethel and Coppell Roads. In the early 1970s, the name was established as First Baptist Coppell and the church moved to its current location on Denton Tap Road. Through the years devoted, caring people have always stood ready to minister to the community in the name of Jesus Christ. That spirit of love, compassion and care that charaterizes Jesus' ministry on the earth is alive, well and flourishing in GracePoint today.
9:30 AM Sunday Mornings Followed by Life Groups & Age Graded Minsitries
Each and every event at GracePoint goes toward fulfilling our goal of sharing the Gospel with all men and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We have activities for the whole family.
Giving is an act of obedience, giving God back a little of what He has so graciously given us. Every week we have an offering in our service, but many find online giving a better option for their family. Click the links below to setup and monitor your online giving.
If you have an need, prayer request, question about the Bible or the church, we are here to walk alongside and help. If you need a church to call home, we hope you will come and visit us on Sunday morning or drop by the Ark or Church Office during the week. We truly strive to be the church where shame meets grace.
Registration Ends March 6, so grab some friends (or come ready to make some friends) and join others for this incredible time. Teaching by Beth Moore and lots of time to get to better know other women from GracePoint.
This weekend is for you if:
you are new to GracePoint
you have been at GracePoint for a long time
you need a break from your…day to day responsibilities
you would like to make some new friends
you would like to hear four heart-to-heart messages from Beth Moore designed to help women both embrace the Biblical mandate to love and develop skills for successful friendships
you don’t even have a clue who you would room with
you need to talk, laugh and worship with other women
We won't be having the night of worship tonight. Crazy Texas weather.
We WILL reschedule so that we can have a chance to pray for Micah Ahern, who we met at the worship experience this morning. I would encourage you to go back and watch this morning's Worship. Clayton taught us what we were created for. A great word from our pastor. We'll keep you posted for the next date for Night of Worship.
