Church Family,

I'm happy because Christ is building His Church by the power of the Word and Spirit and nothing can stop Him. We, the people who follow Jesus, are His church. I love how 1 Corinthians 3 likens the church to a spiritual building that God is constructing with Jesus Christ as the foundation. Our God is active in, among, and through us to bring about the obedience of faith for the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

On another note, we made faster progress than expected in our facilities. We fixed the plumbing and turned the water back on. We also dried the east side of our campus. We will make progress each week. However, the restoration of our entire campus may take months.

Worship Plans This Weekend
As a result, we will worship together in the Fellowship Hall this Sunday, February 28 at 10:45 AM. We plan to continue worshiping in the Fellowship Hall in the weeks to come unless we run into any unforeseen problems or the worship center becomes usable again. Not everything is fully rebuilt and restored, but everything is dry, safe, and usable. As we gather, expect to see a facility that is in the process of being restored.

As usual we will stream the service online on Youtube, Facebook, and Livestream.

What about Kids, Students, and Adults Ministries?
We will offer optional classes for children, infants through 6th grade, during the worship service. Registration is required and can be accessed below.https://gracepoint.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/268/responses/new
Since our normal Kids space is unusable, these classes will meet in the classrooms near the Fellowship Hall. For Kids check-in enter through the north entrance of the Fellowship Hall (the one with a covered entry way). Look for the yellow "Kids" flag outside as a locational marker. Once inside, someone will guide you to the Kids check-in station straight ahead. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact our Kids Director, April Huskey at ahuskey@gracepointcoppell.org.

Adult Bible Fellowship will be provided online only this weekend.

Preteens (grades 4-6) will meet in the Student Center on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:00 PM.

Students (grades 7-12) will meet in the Student Center on Wednesday nights for "The Lift" from 7:00-8:30 PM. Students will also have discipleship breakout groups throughout Coppell on Sunday. If you have any questions about Student Ministry plans during this time, please contact our Student Director, Chris Meads at cmeads@gracepointcoppell.org.

Group life will continue as normal. However, no groups are able to meet on our campus until further notice, with the exception of the Student Center.

Women's ministry still plans to provide a few new Bible studies in Philippians and Ephesians soon. They are making a few logistical adjustments due to the flooding. A great way to stay in the know about upcoming studies and events is to join the GracePoint Women Facebook group.
I can't wait to gather and give God glory together.
In Christ,

Pastor Chad
