Flood and Ministry Updates

CONTEXT
During the snow storm in February, our facility suffered three pipe leaks that flooded 12,000 square feet of our church campus. As a result, we have to worship in our fellowship hall until remediation and reconstruction are complete. Below is a detailed look at the current status of our facilities and ministries.
FACILITY STATUS UPDATE
Reconstruction in in process. Our best estimate is that we will return to the worship center sometime in July of 2021.
WORSHIP PLANS
We will worship in the Fellowship Hall until we are back in the worship center. As usual we will stream our services online on our website, app, YouTube, and Facebook.
There are three functional entrances: the north (C) and east (D) Fellowship Hall entrances and the main east entrance (Offices/Ark Playground/near outdoor patio).
KIDS/STUDENTS/ADULTS
Kids and preteens ages 0-6th grade have Sunday school at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Childcare is available during the worship service at 10:45 AM for ages 0-5 with pre-registration required. We will provide an optional Kids specific worship gathering once per month at the same time as the regular worship service. Kids worship will take place on the first Sunday of every month (May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, December 5).

Kids Classes will utilize the classrooms near the Fellowship Hall and some of the classrooms on the second floor of the modern kids ministry space. For Kids check-in, enter through the north entrance of the Fellowship Hall (the one with a covered entry way). Look for the yellow "Kids" flag outside as a locational marker. Once inside, someone will guide you to the Kids check-in station straight ahead. You can also now use the Main East Entrance (Office/Ark Entrance) if you prefer. Adult Bible Fellowship has resumed in person on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in a panel and teaching format. It meets in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare will be available for ages preschool through preteens at 9:30 AM during Adult Bible Fellowship in the same classrooms that are used during the worship service.
Preteens (grades 4-6) in the Student Center (580 S. Denton Tap Rd.) on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:00 PM during the school year.
Students (grades 7-12) will meet in the Student Center on Wednesday nights for "The Lift" from 7:00-8:30 PM during the school year. Students will also have discipleship breakout groups in Coppell on Sunday mornings. Group Life including City Groups and gender specific groups (men and women) and studies will continue as normal (https://www.gracepointcoppell.org/adults). Women's Ministry has weekly Bible studies, monthly breakfasts (Saturdays), and quarterly "Dinner for Six".
